Ive used 3 or 4 others and this is the best. It gives all definitions, sources and even translations to the language of your choice. Word origins are important to me. In addition to complete definitions (and translations, if wanted) word origins are always included.

Kids love the games, hangman and words within words. Every day interesting news and historical trivia. And then it does the dictionary, too. You can download offline dictionaries so it works when you are on the plane or out hiking. My all time favorite app.

This is a fun and educational app to use. Great articles on interesting people and events along with fun word games, too.

Gives great references, very handy. I look forward to it every day!

After this last update, it only lets me use offline mode. Every word gives me the error that there is no internet (my connection is great).

I love this ap esp the synonym antonym games and blessedly short articles.

Makes it easier to do bible study with the dictionary app on my phone- great app, also helps with medical questions. Mike, a pharmacists. Handy or timely definitions yields greater meaning to quotations and Bible passages. Mike

Its a great way to exercise the old thinker. I like taking a little time using this to unwind at different intervals doing the week. And the word pronunciation feature is great especially for my grandkids.

I love it, but I am nine and some of the games are simply too hard for me.

This app goes Above and Beyond. Amazing! 5 Stars! The only improvement I recommend is a clearer voice quality for the word pronunciation feature.

Love this app! Easy 5 stars. So grateful for it and use it frequently. On a social justice level, Im glad it is free. Knowledge should not be a privilege.

I am not familiar with previous versions of this app (as i just recently discovered it), but compared to other dictionary apps that i have tried, this is by far the best one. The complimentary thesaurus is a nice feature too!

An amazing and complete dictionary, non just as a word meaning giver if not as a full encyclopedia!
